Roma, Italia…

This collage is an artistic representation of the days I spent in the historic city of Rome. Lovingly called Roma (in Italian), ROME is one of the places where I felt I have traveled way back to the 60 A.D., while one leg was still in December 2017 (seeing all those cars pass by) and only once seeing someone in the gladiator costume!

 The Colosseum

Rome is big, beautiful and a certain gateway into its own grasping history. I walked for hours in this iconic city, never using public transport, for my guides from the Alessandro Downtown suggested doing so. Of course, you can take the ‘hop on hop off buses’ to see Roma or cycle your way around, but I preferred walking because it allowed me to take in all the history slowly and steadily.

A break while walking towards the Colosseum

One day, I sat at the colosseum from morning till late afternoon, just absorbing and catching the air around this splendid monument. And I spent one entire evening at the Fontana Di Trevi and the Pantheon.

I am certain, if you visit Rome, you too will be completely immersed in its magnificence and grandeur. Make sure you don’t rush into your visit to Rome; for it has over 3000 years of history, good street music, mozzarella Pizza and lots of cappuccino to offer.

Ciao amigos, Grazie!
