1) Make a country-wise or city-wise list of the places you would want to go to – as If you had no time or budget constraints.
2)Select the cities you would want to see keeping the time and budget constraint in mind
3)( I traveled in Flix bus and flight for my trip. Flixbus is the cheapest and best option for transport within the European region. For long distances I used the flight). So find out the distances and costing and make 3-4 routes.
4) Add or remove places if it exceeds your budget or doesn’t fit in to the route.
5) Finalise one route.
6) (I only stayed in hostels during my trip; you can even use an Airbnb.) Check good rates and budget-friendly hostels on ‘Booking.com’ or Hostelworld. (Booking.com usually offers the cheapest and best options. All my hostels were nice.
7)Then make the bookings.
Berlin is good for history, Ive heard their night life is good. Prague is beautiful. If you go to Budapest I would recommend to do the baths thing that I couldn’t do. But otherwise Budapest isn’t great. Rome is historic as well- if you’re in to roman architecture and food. Paris is too good. The Eiffel Tower, seine, arc de triumph, boating – lots. And Amsterdam I didn’t stay much so I don’t know
Oh okay.. I don’t know about the design oriented subject, but yes.. public transport is really good in both Milan and Paris
Yeah, do check the location before you book. Post hostel in Paris is good.
Hostels are really nice. Depends on your budget again. I stayed in 4-8 bed dormitories
And yes, I went solo
Ah that I wouldn’t know. Paris is mostly open all week. But yeah there are lots of strikes that happen in the Parisien metro so can’t predict that as of now. Otherwise the bus connectivity is really good in PAris
I used to visit Paris every weekend. Well I am a vegetarian so I only found Italian restaurants to eat pasta or pizza in. May be you can explore more. try finding their local app lequivalent to tomato and there you’ll find good options. Any restaurant in a touristy place are good. But food in Paris is expensive remember that. Do try their crepes, macarons, coffee, croissant (or any other breads)baguette. You can also try ramen. in some Japanese restaurants. Thats yum
About budget yes. you must make a budget and stick to it. allocate a backpacking fund and do not spend over it. take free walking tours, which are tied up with your hostels
