ALL THAT GLOWS

A candle when lit spreads its glow all around its wig, covering its destined circumference.
A lamp sits at the corner of a room and touches the walls lighting every drop of paint it can.
A street lamp dutifully glows, guiding the humans and animals till its very boundary, accompanying the breathing trees and falling leaves.
A sun shines, lighting up half of the planet, helping plants photosynthesize, enabling beings to see and creating unbound horizons.

There is a sheen to everything, every being, every torch,
Whether it is a bird or a bug sitting on the porch.
Measure your sphere
How far can you go
To light up all that you can.

May my body be the wig
May my intention be the enlightener
And May my spirit be the sheen
May I light up that which is dark
Needs a little spark
May I be the Vistaura*
To every lost
And May every lost find Flora

*Vistaura – A light always present at the end of a path, guiding the traverser.
