I wake up in the morning and look at my ‘Eiffel Tower’ postcard in the anticipation of the day ahead. The day I dreamt of all my life back in Mumbai, India; my hometown.
But today it was not going to be a dream anymore. Living the conflict of longing to keep the dream alive and letting it turn into reality, I took off in the Metro to Paris.
The Metro to Paris; the ride that brings so many ideas, feelings and pictures in my head. It’s hard, really hard to distinguish between what was a dream and what part of those dreams are slowly escaping into this wonderful and the sweetest reality.
Taking a metro to Paris, and crossing a station after another, slowly approaching the city of my dreams, is like saying hello to the ghosts of Claude Monet, Gustave Eiffel and many more such ideas in my mind.
My mind; struggles, to process, of what was an idea, what is about to take life, and what will be completely new! At Birhakeim, I take a walk to the famous Champs de Mars park, where the majestic Eiffel Tower stands.
It stands, tall and proud, basking in the glory of its beauty, genius composition, fame, and establishment. The names it carries on its body are like shadows, welcoming you, to their most beloved work of art or rather existence as you walk under the tower.

A day in Paris, France is a work divided into three pieces.
Bonjournée, Au revoir!
