Lipsticks to swear by: My favorites

Thoughthere are multiple make-up products to adorn and compliment you, lipsticks, in my opinion, are the easiestway to uplift not justyour look but alsoyourmood. I wasalwaysinclinedtowardslipsticks as myfather has been in the R&D sector of Lakmé- India’s best make-up brand, workingprimarily in developinglipstickshades and leading collections after collections.

So here are some of my favorite lipstickshades of all times:

LakmeAbsolute 3D Matte – Elegant Pink.
This shadeis a beautifulsubtlenudepinkthatenhances the real lipcolor and givesthat ‘no-makeup-makeup-look.’ I love wearingthiscolorwhen I have to be in formal situations such as an interview or a meeting. Also, the formulation gives a balmy and moisturizingeffect.
Revlon Matte Balm – Sultry.

If youwant to skip the lipbalm and look effortless, thisis the shade for you. Revlon’ssultryis a fruitypinkshadethatcomplements the skin tonejust right and brings a glossyeffect.

Nykaa Matte To Last LiquidLipstick- Chai.

This liquidlipstickismy favorite brownnudelipstick. The shade looks stunningwhenworn over a light pinkoutfit.

MaybellineColorSensational – Berry Bossy.

When I want to have a boldlip in the day or a stunninglip for a night event, I go for thisdeeplypigmentedmaroonlipshade.

LakmeAbsolute Matte MeltLiquidLipColor – RedSmoke.

I have plenty of redlipsticks in my collection, however, thisredlipstickismy go-to when I wear something white for a brunch or relaxedday out.

M.A.C Matte – Mehr.

One cannot skip Mehrfromtheir favorite lipstickslist. It genuinelyis the subtlestpinknudelipshade for me. Thoughitis a matte lipstick, itleavesyourlipslookingmoisturized.

Inglot Matte Lipstick – 410

This lipstickismyone-stop solution for anyevent. The pinknudecolor looks effortless on bothtraditional and western wear. The formulation ispretty matte ensuring minimal transfer.

LakmeAbsolute Matte MeltLiquidLipColor – Vintage Pink.

I love to use thisclassicpinknudelipstickwhen I want the lipcolor to last for a long time. I often substitute itwithRevlon Matte Balm ‘Sultry’ in this case.

M.A.C Retro Matte Lipstick – All Fired Up.

If I couldchooseany 1 lipstickfrommyentire collection, I wouldchoosethis one. It is a brightpinkshadethatmakesyour skin toneglow. I love wearingthisshade on white or pinkoutfits in particular. It reallydoesmakeevery ensemble- ‘All Fired Up.’

Nykaa Matte To Last LiquidLipstick – Gul.

This isyetanotherpreciouspinklipshade in myvanity. It is a slightlysubtlerpinkthan ‘All Fired Up’ and gives a natural look to yourentire make-up. It ismyeveryday go-to lipcolor.

LakmeAbsolute Matte UltimateLipColorwith Argon Oil – DeliciousPlum.

Apartfrom the maroons, reds, pinks, browns, oranges and so on, your beauty wardrobeisincompletewithout the plums. What I love about thisshade by Lakmeis the richplumcolorthatbringsdepth to the dimensions of your facial features. It definitely qualifies as a statementlipcolor.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick – Spice Girl.

Spice girl is a deepbrownlipcolorthat I like to wear a few times in a month to shuffle up mylipstick looks keepingitrefreshed. It dries up immediatelyafter application and does not transfer for a long time.

Nykaa MATTE-iliciousLip Crayon – Jade Rose.

This ismyobviouschoice of lipshadethat I wear on an all-blackoutfit. It is a deepbrownynudepinkthat I wear veryoften.

Sephora Cream LipStainLiquidLipstick – Vintage Rosewood.

I preferwearingthisliquidlipstickwhen I have a long day at work and wouldn’tget a chance to touch-up mylipstick a lot. Apartfrombeing long-lasting, the formulation brings a velvetyeffect to yourlips.

ESTEE LAUDER Pure ColorEnvy- Carnal

This last one ismy ‘I want to look French’ lipstick. It is a brightredlipcolorthatinstantlybrightens up myentire face.

It has always been difficult for me to choose one lipstick over another. But with time I have analyzedmypreferredcolor palette, formulation, occasion, and outfit situation. It has been a long exploration and fun one. So thiswas an ode to my favorite lipsticks!
